Prepare for Your First Visit

Thoughtful care begins with a complete health history.

Please print the New Patient Intake Form, complete every section, and bring it with you to your first appointment. Taking time with the form helps us understand the connections across your health history rather than beginning with only the most obvious symptom.

Please note: Supplements are not appropriate for everyone and may interact with medications, health conditions, or other products. Information and links on this page are provided for convenience and general education and do not replace individualized medical advice. Please speak with an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning something new. Purchases are completed through Fullscript, an independent third-party platform, and Tao of Health may receive a practitioner margin on purchases made through this storefront.

Before and After Your Visit

A few simple steps can help you arrive comfortably and give your treatment room to settle afterward.

Preparing for your appointment

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Have a light meal beforehand rather than arriving overly full or on an empty stomach.
  • Bring an up-to-date list of medications, supplements, allergies, and anything else you feel may be relevant.
  • Continue prescribed medication as directed by your medical provider.

After your treatment

Give yourself a little room to settle. Rest as needed, drink water normally, and notice how your body responds. Temporary tenderness, a small bruise, pleasant tiredness, or a short-lived change in symptoms can occasionally occur. If something feels unusual or concerns you, please contact Tao of Health.
